AbilityLMS has a built-in survey engine. However, you can also use other online survey tools, such As SurveyMonkey.


Note: Before using an online survey service, you will need to set up an account with that service. The service must also provide a static link that can be used for your Learners to access the survey.


1. In this example, we created three survey questions in SurveyMonkey.



2. Once  completed, locate and copy the link to the survey.



3. Next, open the properties for the target course. Click on the COURSE WORKFLOW tab. Click on the green Plus icon




4. Add a Post-Training Survey and click the NEXT button to continue.




5. In the next window, set the "Survey/Assessment" drop down to "Online Course Survey". In the "Survey/Assessment URL" field, enter the link from the 3rd party online survey service.




6. Save the changes and test the  course. In this example, when the learner gets to the end of the course, the link to the survey will open up in a new window.





7. Once  the survey is completed and submitted, AbilityLMS marks the course as Finished, Completed or Requirement Met.


Note: The survey results that are gathered by using a 3rd party online survey service are stored that service and can not be accessed by AbilityLMS.
